Bernie Sanders’ New Hampshire favorability is ‘almost unheard of’ in new poll

Dr. Andrew Smith, director of the UNH Survey Center, told Boston.com that Sanders’ popularity is “almost unheard of” this far into the campaign.

“I have never seen favorabilities for any candidate this high at this point in the primary,” Smith said, noting that Sanders’ net favorability has only increased since he entered the race.

Everyone. We're all grumpy and some of us like me are out and out pissed off.

I couldn't run for President because I'd sound like Sam Kinison.

I say it as well but I won't vote for him.

Not every nice guy is presidential material. The polls show this.

She is not presidential material and her lack of moral fiber doesn't make her nice either.

Arguments like yours are almost too easy to turn around. I am seriously afraid for the GE if Clinton ends up the nominee.

Sanders' favorability and his name recognition go hand in hand. Clinton's: not so much. Why DWS and the rest of the coronation committee are so keen on denying any and all exposure to Sanders is to me: unbelievably stupid, and obviously biased.

On top of name recognition, Clinton has so many in power in the tank for her (including the DNC), the fact Bernie is where he is in the polls, etc is quite extraordinary.

As he said when he announced his run: "Don't underestimate me"

Pollster.com

vs UNH

If UNH is correct about the whopping difference, the other polling services stand to lose a lot of credibility and, as a result, a lot of $$$

candidate and also to a generic Republican. However, polls that each of us likes probably give each of us a warm, fuzzy feeling anyway.

And nothing is ever done about it.

I still have a glimmer of hope Bernie wins. I know the people want him. But what the people want is so 20th century.
