Related: About this forumNicki Minaj Gets Political: Her Take on Hillary Clinton, Donald Trump and Why the War on Drugs 'Has
Billboard's cover star shares her thoughts on the presidential frontrunners & why Sandra Bland's death "hit me so hard."
Nicki Minaj has always been outspoken, but 2015 saw the rapper getting more politically vocal than ever before.
In Billboard's Year-End issue, the cover star speaks on Hillary Clinton, Trump, how the war on drugs is "slavery" and more. Here's what she had to say on a variety of vital topics.
On Hillary Clinton: 'I Support Her As a Woman'
"I support her as a woman," Minaj tells Billboard when asked about Democratic presidential frontrunner Hillary Clinton. "Am I convinced that she should be the next president? I still want to be open-minded about everyone. Obviously, I identify with her struggles as a woman. I identify with the fact that when shes in that room and there are nothing but men there -- theres sometimes something in her that must feel intimidated. But I think that she uses that and turns it into a strength. Because thats what Ive always done. And so I love her for sticking it out. She has gone through horrifying things, even within her marriage. She has been brave and weathered the storm. And continued being a boss. Thats something that every woman should feel inspired by, no matter if youre voting for her or not."

OP
I had to work so hard to find a G rated video and had to watch the whole thing to make sure.

I'm not up to date on many of today's pop music artists, but she's one I *DO* know of...

We probably aren't her demographic but she is very popular with younger people.

I try to not be too much of an old fart....But she is not what I'd call a role model, to say the least. My standards are fairly flexible (as a product of the 60';s and 70's) but some of her stuff is just mean and nasty in a depressing way. I made some music files of her at the request of my gf's grandaughters...and I felt like i had to take a shower afterwards.

... unlike that Killer Mike singer. No only does Hillary have MORE endorsements, ordinary people (such as myself) who don't closely follow pop-artists are actually more likely to recognize the person who's endorsing her.
