Intentionally so. I stopped writing poetry for publication in about 1980. I discovered that I had an urgent need for money, so I turned to writing that paid. Time better spent.

Dec 2015

I have never been paid for any political writing, and would never accept payment for it. I am paid for marketing writing now. These days it's for the entire content of new business websites.

I work with a web designer and SEO specialist. Our websites work very well for our clients. That's the writing I do now for money. Nothing else. In the past, I have written for a number of major magazines, on subjects ranging from woodworking to computer technology.

Your sarcasm isn't needed. I've said the same thing many times here on DU.

Years ago I worked in a Law office. Needless to say the vast majority were conservative. I was not. I love to cook and used to bring in goodies every monday for the office. I saw the recipe in the paper for Hillary Clinton's Chocolate Chip Cookies. Several times over the years I made them and took them into the office and neglected to tell them where the recipe came from. My secret little Gotcha! Yeah, I know, a little childish but .........
Now that I think of it, I may make a batch and give some to my less enlightened friends for Xmas.
Those cookies look delicious and thanks for reminding me.

Myself, I have been posting "Blah! Blah de-Blah!" on threads which are obvious flame bait.

I have been both called a Berniebro and a Hillarybot. It warms my black heart.

I try to get along here, but things are getting out of hand to the point that DU's purpose is being undermined by outright ill behavior.

Besides, Hillary Clinton has a better plan than simply re-instating Glass-Steagall, which doesn't really cover everything it should. You can look it up on her campaign website, if you're interested.

I'm still stuck, but at least I have Social Security and Medicare. That's good. I can still write, too, which is better.
