Obama channels Michael Douglas ('The American President' - paraphrased by me):
"We've got serious problems, and we need serious people, and if you want to talk about character you'd better come at me with more than a Birther Joke and a Convention full of lies. If you want to talk about healthcare and American values, fine. Just tell me where and when, and I'll show up. This is a time for serious people, Mitt, and your fifteen minutes are up. My name's Barack Obama AND I AM THE PRESIDENT!"

(19,458 posts)And I said basically.. he's the President, not a candidate. He's not an unknown. He's not reading a speech written for him that was designed to sell a new product. He is speaking now with the gravitas he has shown as President. And contrary to Queen Ann's statement, as a "grown up man."
