The comment section had some interesting comments as well, this particular article seemed to be trying to give it a fair deal, the cons vs the pros....

(6,282 posts)She is opposed to the TPP (so she says now) but doesn't want to advocate against it. For some reason. That nobody has really managed to explain.
Meanwhile Sanders has always been a vocal and active opponent.

(6,282 posts)Members of her side of the party explain her understandably difficult position that in their view justifies lying to the American people:
Al From agreed. Hillary will bend a little bit, but not so much that she cant get herself back on course in the general [election] and when she is governing, he said.

(9,904 posts)Of power?
I just find it strange how the media continues to refocus the majority of American citizens so easily, I honestly believed enough people could not be so easily lulled into almost a submissive posture....
Reading through the net, speaking with people IRL proves its manipulation is working far better than I thought it would, nice to see a recent article about this issue from Sanders, he doesn't forget it seems,a valuable trait...
At the same time as much as I admire him and others I cannot in all good conscience not keep my eyes and ears open at all times...
I wish we here on DU would not be at such Odds but history repeats itself always it seems and having obvious disrupters in force makes a bit more difficult I guess to control emotions that can so easily be unleashed for a time ...

(19,326 posts)"Sanders vowed he will continue to lead the effort in the Senate against the TPP."
So -- this side of the WH -- he's already in a better position than an ex-SOS whose 'opposition' is
weak, at best, to try to stop it, despite the fast track getting passed several months ago.

(9,904 posts)we were looking in the other direction...hopefully we will gave a chance to fight it with him,
no one can do it alone, not going up against something that important in that it remains in many ways still hidden from view from the very people it will effect...that should terrify far more citizens than it has.....

(19,326 posts)We have every reason to be worried about that very thing. Like it gets brought up suddenly,
when no one is looking, because the M$M insures that everyone will be looking the other way,
ALL about Trump & Terror, and MSNBC is among the worst, even though their Trump coverage
is mostly critical, still it's all about Trump.

And that common sense tells me we are being force fed plenty of diversions while the real danger is still yet not known....

So it appears TPP may be held over until after elections. Woot! Maybe there's still
hope to kill this monster.
