Brand Spanking New PPP (D) Iowa Poll-HRC 52% SBS 34% MOM 7%

On the Democratic side Hillary Clinton continues to be the clear favorite in Iowa. She’s at 52% to 34% for Bernie Sanders and 7% for Martin O’Malley. Sanders leads 47/40 with younger voters, but that’s not enough to make up for Clinton holding a 64/20 advantage with seniors. She leads by pretty similar margins of 19 points with liberals at 56/37 and 22 points with moderates at 52/30. And she also has comparable leads with both women (21 points at 55/34) and men (15 points at 49/34). Clinton’s favorability rating is 73/19 while Sanders’ comes in at 65/23.

... to vote. Based on what we're seeing at this stage, things aren't looking too peachy for Bernie. He's even struggling to hang on in places like NH, and that's not a good sign at all.

Individual polls are fun. Outliers are exciting (or disappointing) depending on who the results favor. I think that's why I value seeing the results of the overall trends and averages of multiple polls over a period of time.

This poll includes everyone-

AP-GfK poll: Hillary tops all candidates on favorability

ap-gfkpoll.com/main/wp-content/uploads/2015/12/AP-GfK_Poll_December-2015-Final-topline_GOP.pdf

She tops them all, Dem and Repub -by a lot! And she does 6 pts better than the last time they polled. It's online -not a phone poll, but not one of the clicky game ones either. There's some analysis at this kos link-

His talking points campaign doesn't sell to people who want to know how to get it done.

He sells well to those who think they can benefit from his socialist programs but that is a small amount of voters.

The Democratic Party is diverse. Bernie speaks to the left wing and he makes no effort to court the whole party.

I'm still impressed with the young voters for HRC. Numerous talk about how the young voters were at least 99% against her is pure bs.
