Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton continues to hold a strong lead over Vermont U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders in the most recent Loras College Poll measuring Democratic presidential hopefuls, which was released today.
Say what you will about negatives Clinton may have in a general election, but right now among likely Democratic caucus voters in Iowa she does not appear to be a divisive figure, Budzisz said in a news release.
Clintons support, however, fell slightly from nearly 62 percent of likely Democratic Iowa voters surveyed Oct. 19-22, while Sanders grew from 23.6 to 27.3 percent.
That consistency is not good news for OMalley, according to Budzisz.
Both Clinton and Sanders have maintained strong favorability ratings, with only 6.4 percent and 9.6 percent of Democratic caucus voters who think poorly of them, respectively.

(2,522 posts)Not sure how to square the 9-point lead there with the 22+ points here.
Edit: It's actually 32 points. I don't think even the Clinton campaign believes those numbers...
