So yeah, Cruz is doing better with independents. In some polls. Obviously, this varies by poll.

Democrats are 30% of the electorate. Clinton could get every single Democratic voter in the general election, and still lose by a mile.

She's very far underwater on approval and trust with Democratic-leaning independents, the voters she needs to actually win the election. These voters are also to the left of the median Democrat, so her strategy of "turn to the right for the GE" is exactly the wrong thing to do.

And this is before we get the dozen or so "scandals" that will be put out by the Republicans if she's the nominee. They've been well aware of her intentions to run for President for the last 20 years. They've been saving plenty of material.

With her track record of letting those "scandals" brew for years, that massive trust/like deficit, and heading away from the voters she needs to win, Clinton is an extremely dangerous candidate for us to nominate.

recognizing reality, plus my meh towards Bernie as a candidate, must make me a HRC supporter.

After all fire is hot and I don't like lamb ... so I must love wine.

But that said ... should HRC win the Democratic nomination, I will work my ass off to see her elected.
