2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumAbout 2 days ago I started receiving emails from Hillary's campaign. How did they get my email
address and why do they consider me a supporter for Hillary?
XXXX --
Thank you for being a part of this campaign. I'm thrilled to have you on my team, especially at such a critical time.
I'm counting on you to make sure we have the resources we need as folks begin voting. Can you chip in $1 right now?
It's time to act on raising wages and reforming our immigration system. It's time to change our gun laws and make education more affordable for our children. It's time to make sure that all people are an equal part of our political process and our communities, regardless of your gender, race, or who you love.
It's time we make sure that every single child has the chance to live up to their God-given potential.
We can't wait any longer. I need you to stand with me by chipping in to support that vision right now, XXXX. It's the only way we can get this work done:

(670 posts)I've never been able to figure out where they got my info, or why they thought I would support him. We've contributed to a lot of Democrats over the years so our political leanings should be easy to figure out.

(21,718 posts)I was really feeling spammed. I never signed up for anything. Don't know how I got on their list and am not happy about it. Love Bernie, but spamming potential voters is not the way to get votes.

(11,641 posts)Organizations usually require one to optin so they aren't spamming. I get plenty of Hill spam from other organizations. These new ones are from her campaign and call me a supporter.
I opted out and it seems to have worked. I almost wonder if this is an RNC plan to piss off the dem voters

(27,670 posts)ago. I replied and told them that I had not joined Hillary For America, and told them never to contact me again.
I am upset that my email address was even associated with this group.
