2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumWhat would you like to see in Saturday's democratic debate?
I'd like to see a robust discussion of policy issues.
Then Parliament Funkadelic lead everyone in a rousing performance of One Nation Under A Groove.

(9,148 posts)Until Bernies campaign complies with the DNC Contract that he & the others all signed, about respecting other candidate's voter data, he should have the decency to stay home.
The fact that his campaign has wagged its finger at every possible culprit but his own staff, and has allowed the 4 others who accessed & kept another candidates data to remain untouched, and refuses to hand over the data they took & still hold, as so stated in the DNC fairness contract that all candidates signed, including sanders, he should do the honorable thing and sit this debate out until he decides to comply.
I don't know how he can stand on stage and act like nothing happened.
Its a disgrace.

(11,833 posts)I see it as campaign squabbles. Insider stuff that most voters don't care about.
Maybe the moderators will ask about it.
If I were the candidates I'd say our staffs will work things out.
Then move on to discussing policy issues that affect viewers' lives.

(9,148 posts)...noses out of each other's personal voter data bases.
His staffers not only peekek inside an open door, they looted the place.
He was under contrat that clearly stated the consequences of such a data heist.
The consequwnces clearly state the candidate who is found to violate conditions of said contract will have their voter data SUSPENDED UNTIL AN INVESTIGATION CAN DETERMINE TGE EXTENT OF THE BREACH.
So the access is forgiveable but the holding of Clinton's voter data is Not.
Bernie Sanders is in Breach of the DNC Comtract he signed.
And he will find this to be true when his campaign attorneys appear at the very injunction they're howling about today.
Bernie Sanders Campaign is in Breach of the DNC Contract he signed which is set up to protect each candidates data from the others.
This is the bare bones simple fact of all the wailing by the sanders campaign & his supporters.
None of it matters, because THIS BREACH OF CONTRACT IS THE ISSUE..
I am glad as hell he asked for a court injunction.
The truth of the contract breach is at the bottom of the heap of bull shit the sanders campaign has tossed out today to blame & deflect.
It is no one but the sleazy low life sanders campaign that is at fault.
He should stay the fuck away from the DEM debate until he turns over all saved Clinton data & fucking apologizes like a decent man would.
He has disgraced the DEM Campaign and his whining after thoughts are dispicable.
This is the shit that happens when one has no party loyalty nor self respect.
Pathetic move on his part to steal & skim Clinton's voter data base that she has worked so hard to build.
Maybe the Nadar Nurses can help him build a voter base of his own.
F-ing pathetic.
He doesn't deserve to stand on that DEM Debate Stage.
Thats not just how I see it, that is how it really is.
Yuk.

(9,148 posts)..from another.
Bernies campaign breached this contract and as the contract states, suspension of one's voter data base is the consequence for such a breach
He gets what he signed up for by taking and storing another candidates voter data.Suspension of the DNC voter files is now in place because bernies campaign Breached the DNC Contract he signed.
He cannot touch Hillary. This is bernie sanders sleazy underhanded low life move to figure out.
Hillary nor DWS had a damned thing to do with it.
Bernies blame game is about to end in a slap from the court . BREACH OF CONTRACT.
He should have just apologized & turned over all data his staffers took & stored for their own future use.
That is what the DNC asked of him. Then he turned ot into a big fat whining blame game.
I am so damn glad they filed the injunction because the truth will show that Sanders is at fault for Breach of DNC Contract.
He better not show his sleazy whiney face on that Dem Debate Stage.
Disgraceful.

(5,204 posts)I see no such thing in here, and it says that the contract can only be ended after 10 days are given to remedy the situation.

(16,916 posts)that causes each candidate to speak nothing but the truth for 10 minutes.
I'd know exactly what Bernie would say (exactly what he always says), and I'd have high hopes for MO'M.
But 10 minutes of Hillary "Unplugged" would be the best TV ever...
