Clinton campaign: Sanders staff may have broken law

Hillary Clinton’s campaign alleged on Friday evening that Bernie Sanders staffers engaged in what was “potentially a crime,” and demanded the Sanders campaign prove they don’t still have access to the breached voter files.

I guess we have are answer to how Hillary will handle this.

Hillary and the DNC. And no, I don't think Bernie had any knowledge of it.

in order to report it with the info necessary for the vendor to fix their crappy software.

That is what IT people do.

The running of multiple specific queries that will benefit the Sanders campaign pushes this from not a big deal to something more. It wasn't about documenting an error, it was about taking advantage of one.

She'll probably leave it to surrogates. My guess is she says just enough to leave him twisting in the wind.

They defknew what they were doing. They were trying to get an unfair upper hand against our Iowa ground game

to accuse a longtime senator who has always been above board of this is complete slime. but this is what happens when anyone goes against the family. guess its on.

there is already lots of talk on reddit of people voting stein or even trump just to keep her from the wh. if they thought collusion, slander, and cheating would be the path to victory, i guess they are about to learn a hard lession. again.

amounts to collusion, slander and cheating by the Clinton campaign? And you look to the rat-fuckers on reddit for affirmation?

Have at it, Droog.

13. If I was trying to perform a clumsy "demonstration" of a vulnerability ...

... as these folks suggest they were doing, I'd also install some screen-recording software to carefully and plainly document what I did, how I did it, and what was vulnerable. OR ... I'd have a couple of others on staff use their iPhones to video me and the screen, again to document the same thing.

Such a video could later be used to prove that it wasn't a covert operation, and could be provided to media to help prove that it was a proof-of-concept or proof-of-method.

No files or data or records would need to be saved, no screen captures, no "file/save as/html" (assuming browser access, I don't know)... because the video would be enough.

Wouldn't it be nice if such a video existed? Wouldn't it be nice if they'd made one of those monitor capture videos? Then all of this could be put to bed and we'd know for certain that these staffers really were trying to do-good and fix a broken data server with flawed access control.

All it is going to do is cause another rise in discussion regarding all the allegations about her and her emails and the Clinton Foundation. Her campaign is making a very idiotic move and that's no surprise because that's one of the reasons Obama whipped her ass in 2008. She is not good at running a good campaign

and several hearings ultimately exonerating Hillary, you can't hang in there with Bernie for one investigation of his staffers? I'm sorry but Bernie's staffers shouldn't be given free reign to wreak havoc on this primary. You guys need to weed out the zealots who would jeopardize his campaign with self-righteous entitlement.

And I still do. I think its a lot of trumped up political bullshit. But from a political standpoint, she is inviting those attacks to come back on her not long after she did a good job of pushing them to the side. Its just not smart.

Surely you realize that by now. But she wins because she works harder, and she is likely to be the smartest person in the room at any given time. She has great stamina, and she is at ease.

She doesn't have to tolerate the actions of those staffers. She has always been willing to do the work of building relationships and growing her network. No shortcuts. She likes people.

23) Upon information and belief, a similar security incident arose with the NGP VAN software during the 2008 national presidential primaries, resulting in the unintentional transmission of Confidential Information to the campaign of Democratic primary candidate Hillary Clinton (the “Prior Incident”).
