Sanders Campaign Says DNC Will Restore Voter Data Access
The Democratic National Committee has agreed to restore voter data access to the presidential campaign of U.S. Senator Bernie Sanders, potentially averting a court battle over data the DNC says the Sanders camp accessed improperly.

Access to the crucial data - which political campaigns rely on extensively for targeting voters - will be returned on Saturday morning, Sanders spokesman Michael Briggs told Reuters.

the tiny number of debates scheduled for no viewers, all to keep Sanders name out of the dialog, and other stumbling blocks thrown in the way not to mention this action so close to when the first votes care to be cast and the planned blocking from their own campaign data until way to late to be useful. This is the frosting that looks like DWS's DNC was doing some election stealing. Ask instead why is the Democratic party being turned into a second Republican party.

The "digital media specialist" who claimed that he worked for Hillary (from Reddit) reported that he was getting paid $100 a day.

Would you trust someone who was paying you a pittance for such degrading, grunt work?

I wonder how they find these people.

I worked in PR for many years. The process is considered unethical and the Public Relations Society of America has publicly stated that astro-turfing is unprofessional.

I would think that it would be a very stressful gig. Nonstop negativity.

And the replies, nearly a THOUASND of them, are all a backlash against DWS's actions, corruption, lack of trustworthiness.

Also, this theme is repeated a few times:

Let me guess—your focus group saw that Obama ended his press conference today by saying he was on his way to see Star Wars, and that seemed to play well on social media, so now you're giving it a go, too. You can never have a genuine opinion of your own, even when it comes to entertainment. How about this... instead of pandering with a useless and distracting Star Wars post, why don't you stand up, show some integrity, and tell your stooge Debbie Wasserman Schultz to give the Sanders campaign their voter information back. And while you're at it, why don't you publicly state the same position—right here, right now—on Facebook and your other social media accounts? You want to keep this party united? Here's your chance. Because it is about to split at the seems.

that plenty of people are boiling mad about the status quo and want real change. Clinton doesn't represent that. She is a lackluster candidate who is more weather vane than anything else. Now this thing with the DNC coming out against Sanders - that's bullshit meant to kill Bernie's campaign. It's funny, because this is ratfucking straight from the Book of Rove, and 20 years ago it would have worked. What the Third Way establishment, including your candidate, doesn't understand is that they no longer control the dialog.

We do.

The way I see it, and this is admittedly my opinion, is that Clinton can't hold a candle to Bernie on either the issues or her record versus his. So, we've seen a succession of memes that flew dutifully around the corporate-owned 24 hour news cycle - Bernie has problems with blacks. He has problems with Hispanics. He has problems with women. He can sell lots of tee shirts and fill arenas, but he can't win.

Now there's this.

Seems to me that either Clinton is really, really worried about Bernie's ACTUAL support as opposed to what's being reported in the corporate-owned media and so is making a last ditch attempt at an old fashioned ratfucking - a really nice Christmas surprise designed to put Bernie's campaign on the mat for good. But it's backfiring because of social media. The dialog is now democratically controlled, not corporate controlled.

But you know, I'm for Bernie because he best represents me on the issues that I care about. If you think about it, NO one in the establishment wants Bernie in there. That's why the media is ignoring him. That's why the Third Way is trying to force Clinton back to the right and started the meme about selling lots of coffee cups but not being able to win. That's why Clinton surrogates are fighting dirty, making ugly smears that allow Clinton to smile and brush an imaginary speck from her lapel.

I'm not buying that, though. Clinton wants to be president far more than she wants to do anything good for you and me. Seriously. Wall Street and the MIC butter her bread, not us. And I'm really, really pissed about this. Big time. So pissed that if Bernie loses, I'm gonna write his name in. Because honestly, the Democratic party hasn't represented my interests since about 1985. Bernie does.

The logs tell the story of who got what information. If the Clinton camp had tapped into the Sanders camp information and searched it for specific information--you can bet the farm, they would have let the media know by now. Instead what we have in the logs showing the the Sanders staff tapped into the Clinton proprietary data and did specific searches for specific information

"the logs show the Sanders staffers took deliberate steps to harvest and store the information."

http://time.com/4155185/bernie-sanders-hillary-clinton-data/

...............According to data reviewed by TIME, the Sanders campaign appears to have obtained files with lists of voters that the Clinton campaign had cultivated in 10 early states including Iowa and New Hampshire.

Beyond simply reviewing the data, the logs show the Sanders staffers took deliberate steps to harvest and store the information. According to the logs, the Sanders staff created from scratch no fewer than 24 lists—consisting entirely of data pulled down from the Clinton campaign’s database—and saved them to their personal folders.

The logs show the Sanders campaign accessed the Clinton data for nearly one hour beginning around 10:40 p.m. Wednesday. The Sanders staffers were apparently able to view unique voter information along with accompanying information about how likely the voters were to vote for the various candidates, crucial information that the Clinton campaign has likely spent millions of dollars to collect.

The Clinton campaign called for a clear accounting of the breach.

“We were informed that our proprietary data was breached by Sanders campaign staff in 25 searches by four different accounts and that this data was saved into the Sanders’ campaign account,” said spokesman Brian Fallon. “We are asking that the Sanders campaign and the DNC work expeditiously to ensure that our data is not in the Sanders campaign’s account and that the Sanders campaign only have access to their own data.”

Moreover, the Sanders staffers who carried out the breach included a top lieutenant for the Vermont senator: Josh Uretsky, the national data director for the campaign.

The Sanders campaign denied that it had downloaded any data, saying that it did not retain information from the Clinton campaign.

“They didn’t download it—they went in looked around,” said Sanders spokesman Michael Briggs, who announced Thursday the campaign was firing Utersky and that they were treating the matter seriously.

Uretsky also told MSNBC that the campaign “did not export any records or voter file data” and was simply trying “to document and understand the scope of the problem.”.................
