I tread *ever* so carefully into this forum to help me sort this out...

It seems to me regarding this voter file thing, that a breach was made regarding HRC's info. Bernie Sanders fired the people he felt responsible for said breach. The DNC then blocked Bernie's access to Bernie's files? Or to his access to their files? And how is this Hillary's fault? Or is this the DNC blocking Bernie's access to Bernie's files to help HRC defeat him because he is getting momentum?

Is this firewall thing something that happens all the time? From what I'm hearing, it seems so. I don't know IT. My Safari browser has adware on it, and I can't figure out how to take it off, so I am really *asking*.

Firewall isn't the correct technical term. It's more of a permissions thing. jfern Dec 2015 #1

that a breach was made regarding HRC's info.

Correct, though what exactly that means is unclear.

Bernie Sanders filed the people he felt responsible for said breach.

Yup.

The DNC then blocked Bernie's access to Bernie's files? Or to his access to their files?

To Sanders' files.

And how is this Hillary's fault?

It's not. Though it's been noted that the person managing hte firewall is a former employee of hers or something. DWS's overreaction in barring sanders from his campaign's files seems a move for clinton as well.

Or is this the DNC blocking Bernie's access to Bernie's files to help HRC defeat him because he is getting momentum?

At this point very little under the political sun surprises me.

Is this firewall thing something that happens all the time? From what I'm hearing, it seems so.

Evidently so, at least on this particular security system.

"Old Clinton hand" and they decided to see how much HRC could see by seeing how much they could see" sounds a lot like, "we broke into their house to see if they could break in our house too, because we have the same doors"

has worked for the Clinton campaign in the past - since 1992. And the later was referring to the fact that when the firewall was down, it was down for everyone.

But did they? I mean, we know Sanders did...but this working for Clinton back in '92 doesn't mean he's worked for her *since* '92, right? Did Clinton's campaign request Shultz deny him access? Why doesn't his campaign have his own voter files?

A member of his staff did, who claims it was to prove the firewall breach they reported months ago and yet it still was a problem. Whether that staffer was telling the truth about his motives, I can't say. He was fired from his position at any rate.

I am actually getting raw feelings toward certain DU members who I've quite liked in the past. I don't like feeling this way. It feels like the Civil War, you know, the brother against brother thing.
