Voter Data Access Issue ‘Resolved,’ Says Bernie Sanders' Campaign

A campaign spokesperson for Bernie Sanders said that voter access issue has been “resolved” -- after the Democratic National Committee had earlier blocked the campaign's access to the data, which then prompted the Sanders campaign to sue the DNC.

Michael Briggs of the Sanders campaign told ABC News Friday: "It's resolved. DNC capitulated. We get to see voter files by Saturday morning."

The Sanders campaign had earlier filed a breach of contract lawsuit against the Democratic National Committee after it blocked the campaign's access to voter data, leaving the candidate's team "hamstrung" and losing "critical fundraising and publicity opportunities," according to new legal documents.

"The voter data is vital to the fundraising and voter identification efforts of all presidential candidates," the suit, filed in Washington DC federal court, says, estimating costs that "exceed $600,000.00 per day."

"The DNC should not be permitted to tip the scales of the Democratic presidential primary without clear justification and contractual cause," the documents say.

They made a mistake, dealt with the problem -- then went on offense and made DWS, the DNC and Mrs. Clinton the bad guys (which they are because they overreacted and are biased).

The whole progressive social media world sending petitions to the DNC is support of Sanders ... touché, indeed!

The problem was relatively minor. The Sanders campaign fired a guy who went squawking to the media. Then they sent a madman onto the TV to rant and rave that they were truly the victims even though they fired a guy for wrongdoing. Then they made the situation worse by suing the DNC while again acknowledging wrongdoing. And finally they got access to data they would have gotten anyway. It's a disaster.

Just wait and see ... that will be an indicator of just how much this blew-up in the face of DWS, the DNC and Clinton.

Everywhere I look, DWS, Hillary and the DNC are taking the whupping on this one.

It's pretty good when you can admit wrongdoing and the opposition gets all the shit and blame and pain of it. Better when that opposition is later forced to utterly capitulate and give back what they took, without any of the concessions they demanded for the return of what they took. Best when it has done a great deal to mobilize a great deal of force and opposition against the other front-runner, the ostensible "victim" of this scandal.

This was a masterstroke by Sanders.

The Sanders campaign, according to you, did wrongdoing...but as far as I can tell, Hillary, Debbie Downer and the DNC paid the consequences of that wrongdoing while Sanders benefited twice: from the data and from the fallout landing on the enemy.

How would Bernie's campaign know if their data was stolen, they had all day to do this.

President of the company is a Hillary supporter, so honestly I don't know how one can tell whether the Clinton campaign had access to Bernie's information even prior to this incident without an independent audit.

Maybe not now since Bernie wanted it too and she wanted him to say he wouldn't go for it.

Course correction needed.

She never thought Bernie would take them to court! I hope the case stands so we can see the discovery phase... Were there any 'peeks' from team Hillary into Bernies data during any of the multiple windows Hillarys 2008 tech guys company left open?

Was there any communication about it between said former Hillary tech guy and former Hillary 2008 cochair DWS or Hillary?
