more strategies against the democrats for 2016. Namely, the DNC can't even keep their own data secure, and democrats are not trustworthy. This could have been handled in an amicable manner without a 'hair on fire' approach by DWS.

DNC had to give access back based on the contract. They played hardball with Bernie and he refused to lie down and take it. I think that stunned DWS & the DNC.

I await an independent third party evaluation of the vendor (Hillarys 2008 tech guys company) database and the history of access. It will be inteesting to see if any other eyes were wandering during these repeated 'bug fixes' where the firewall was dropped.

It is easy to prevent (temporarily shut down access to do builds, put up a maintenance wall) but if they were truly database professionals then each campaigns database tables would be salted and hashed with pointers to the shared data. That way no one could see their private data without serious decryption effort.

Remember Bill Clinton, who gained major momentum after his victory in NH?? Oh wait, he came in second in NH, and still used that relative success to propel his campaign. THAT's how important Iowa and NH are.

I think she's weaker than her polling. If she loses Iowa and NH, all bets are off. The national polling will shift into a much tighter race in a heartbeat.

It was quite stupid to pull the trigger on the database knowing damn well they couldn't go through with fighting an injunction on the eve of a damn Democratic debate. This is a massive dataset that the Sanders campaign paid $120,000 to access, which is vital to their campaign work. They had to have known a lawsuit was forthcoming, that an injunction would be filed for, and that the DNC would have to fight it. That the DNC did not fight it (knowing it could win) proves the politically risky nature of the whole venture.

DWS took it personal and overreacted big time.

Completely destroying the party to get Hillary the nomination. I never thought it would come to this, but the dlc has done so much damage over the years that it is probably inevitable.

Someone posted about sending DWS and the DNC a thank you card for how much they have done to promote the Sanders Campaign. I do believe I will do this.

I get that there's only altruism and no "us" versus "them" when it's brought up directly.

Doesn't mean it isn't the main engine driving debate - especially on this site - my opinion, of course.
