Great Gawd Almighty........And to think at one time this could have been a campaign about issues......

(110,159 posts)Stand quietly by while his supporters and staff vilify the victim. Do not stand up for the victim or take ownership of the wrong that he is responsible for. The threaten a law suit in a tantrum at the cost of 600k a day, off the back of the very people he is asking for the vote.
That is an example of how he will handle a crisis and delicate negotiation.
Ya, Armstead. That is a pretty big issue. We had a president 8 years ago that handle issues in this manner. It served none of us well.

(1,252 posts)The only attempted theft is by DWS trying to steal nomination for HRC.

(1,252 posts)anyone with eyes to see can see right through this. DWS/HRC in cahoots to set up their opponent. They know that they themselves cannot overcome the label which they earned as being untrustworthy and willing to say and do anything without shame - they cannot overcome the perception so they try - very clumsily - to smear the honest one. to try and level perceptions. Sorry. Millions and millions and millions of people see right through this. oldest trick in the book.

(1,252 posts)or is that just a deflection from obvious collusion? nevermind, I know the answer.
You are attempting to stifle my opinion by casting aspersions upon me. I have never said anything remotely like your insinuation and I consider it a weak attempt to passive aggressively bully me.

(23,350 posts)... tonight's debate will be a complete waste of time.
I don't think HRC or DWS will care if the debate is completely devoid of issues.

(1,846 posts)Folks claim to know what happened on Sanders side. I have not seen a complete set of facts...mostly some facts and an undetermined portion of the story.
The lawsuit is a huge non-story in my mind. Sanders did it to get access to his data. Yeah, some hyperbole, but with the need to get back online, I can't say as I blame them.
The only thing that seems clear at this point is that the DNC has used this incident to squeeze the Sanders campaign. Disappointing but not surprising.
Most disappointing is the self righteous seemingly all-knowing posts on DU. No lessons learned once again.

(7,011 posts)of a large investment by the Clinton campaign--$millions in billed time, service and materials, and tens of thousands of donated man-hours. So yeah, it's a big deal.
Bernie tried to assemble a campaign without first having assembled a network of like-minded individuals--a political endeavor that takes decades if you are serious about building a governing coalition on a national scale. Bernie is a Lone Wolf trying to do it on the quick with political mercenaries. Hillary has an advantage in people, money and tactics because she worked for it--year to year, door to door, room to room, face to face.
