But also the sound of "President Bernie Sanders" or "President Hillary Clinton".

In approximately that order.

4% just before caucus and he took it.. Democrats and Republicans do it different here in Iowa.. for the Republicans it is basically a straw poll .. for the Democrats we come to caucus prepared to state our position and to listen.. and things can change in a heat beat..

It was amazing.. and I came in as a Gephardt supporter because we are a strong union family.. Kerrys people had their facts in hand.. and just a better fit.. I went Kerry

...you folks made my day back then.

I watched Kerry start his campaign there with about 15 people in a room somewhere. I was very proud of his campaign and I kept his bumper sticker in the window of my truck for years afterwards.

true story.. Hubby and I went for Obama in 2008.. Son went for Biden (he was a 19 year old precinct captain for Biden).. Of course our caucus went Obama.. but he saved the signs from his table for Biden and in 2012, when VP Biden came through our town, I went over and he signed it for him and he still has that sign.. So I really do understand younger voters loving that older politician (my brother was for Hillary) .. But this time we are all on the same team.. I still have my Kerry buttons too..

Clinton and Sanders currently have about 90% of the support. Long way to climb.

Add to which, Kerry was a tad better organized and funded.
