(317 posts)while you are at it compare hrc's to mitt's
Thinkingabout
(30,058 posts)Hillary than Sanders. Not having enough friends to vote for one does not provide a win. Also, Hillary represented NY, this is where Wall Street is located and yes she has supporters in NY. Does Sanders have any supporters in Vermont?

(317 posts)come on call a spade a spade... the donor lists speak for themselves...
Thinkingabout
(30,058 posts)did not. Mitt bought companies which traded on Wall Street, apples to oranges.

(317 posts)you think those big banks donate to politicians.... why ?

(63 posts)First link:
"Bernie bad for bankers" from Fortune.
"Reforming Wall Street" - Bernie's plan - an excellent one.
That's why I said "post proof, backed by links". Your failure to do so confirms that you have absolutely nothing.

(63 posts)Therefore, you got nothing and your reasons for supporting Clinton is weak, at best.
Good luck there.

(30,058 posts)I support Hillary.

(36,926 posts)After he dropped out, most of his supporters went to Obama, and he was then in the lead. There's no John Edwards this time. Hillary will maintain her lead until she wins the primary, and then the general.

(317 posts)Before this debacle I could have and would have held my nose and voted for hrc in the general... but not now.. I will write in Bernie.. good luck to you and yours.. happy holidays

(317 posts)why did you say be careful?
MoonRiver
(36,926 posts)But since I don't support your candidate, I think it would be best if you consulted with Bernie supporters.

(36,926 posts)You probably know the rules here. But if not, you might want to read up on the TOS.

(54,770 posts)I agree encouraging people to vote for another party's candidate, or even withholding votes, is not in Democrats' best interest. I just hate to a longtime poster go down.
Not saying the overdue action was unwarranted, just that it's not something to cheer about.
Plus, MG still owes me $20 from our bet years ago when he said Obama was going to slash Social Security.

(14,689 posts)Your implication that Manny is some sort of right-wing troll is a complete smear. The Admins banned Manny for what they perceived as a TOS violation, not because they felt he was a troll.
Manny was better than 99 % of the posters on this site. It is sickening to see how the opposition is celebrating. I understand why Manny was so upset, given the day's events. He should have just kept it to himself.
Your opinion is yours. It's not going to change mine.

From my perspective, nothing much has changed. (The user in question was the very first one added to my ignore list.)
