Saturday's Dem debate goes up against NFL, 'Star Wars'

http://thehill.com/homenews/campaign/263793-saturdays-dem-debate-goes-up-against-nfl-star-wars

Not to mention holiday shopping and holiday parties and events.

Debbie doing Hillary's bidding. Hillary requested that the debates be low profile. Deb delivered. Hillary wanted as few debates as possible. Darling Debbie delivered.

Damn straight the DNC and DWS have rigged the debates to help Hillary. And who knows in what other ways.

... and risen to the challenge without complaining. I see a lot of paranoia and excuse-making coming from Bernie's campaign and its supporters.

This isn't about Bernie. It's about exposing the voting public to democratic ideas and policies.

Hillary actually increased her lead since the first debate.

It looks like fewer people will be tuned in to see Bernie lose yet another debate.

Surely you have evidence to back up your claim that Hillary requested the debates to be low profile.

You're not making shit up, are you?

.snip

It comes just before the Democrats are set to debate on Saturday night, in a gathering that is expected to attract fewer viewers than this week’s GOP debate did, due to poor debate scheduling that already has Clinton’s rivals asking whether the DNC is gaming the process to benefit her. (I think that charge is largely unfair, but it’s true that the Clinton camp did lobby the DNC early on for a lower-exposure debate schedule, and the DNC was to some degree sensitive to the Clinton camp’s demands.)

Tonight, we'll have the third debate. Do you expect a different result? I don't. In fact, since the whole data thing will get aired in this one, I expect another bump for Clinton in the polls after tonight.

I'll be watching. So will a few million others who are interested in hearing from candidates. My shopping is finished. My wife and I had our 24th Anniversary dinner last night at a terrific restaurant. I don't follow football. I'll be watching the debate, along with everyone else who does.

What do I expect? I expect Hillary Clinton to be articulate and sensible. I expect Bernie Sanders to bluster when it's his turn to explain what happened with the data thing. Then, I expect about a 5% bump for Clinton and a 2% bump or so for O'Malley. Bernie will lose some ground. That's what I think the polling will reveal.

On a microscopic look, I expect the NH polling to show a bump for Clinton as well, with her moving into a small lead. Iowa's lead for Clinton will also increase.

I like the debates on Saturdays. I get to stay up late, because it isn't a school night and stuff. Debates are great.

Who didn't see this coming. Still, it hurts to see such opposition to what's good. The love of money.
