EVERYONE who is interested in this election MUST watch and listen to this NH Town Hall meeting,

INCLUDING the Qs and As, with Martin O'Malley.

LOTS of detail, and views of the way he approaches addressing issues.

MORE and BETTER programs than even SUGGESTED by other candidates.

I'm not sure what his stances are on things I'm not even remembering right now, like drugs. But his record also speaks for itself. I'm so far super impressed with him. Honestly I can't believe the quality of our candidates. I look forward to watching the rest.

LOTS of info and issues come out of the Q&A.

Here is his addiction treatment and prevention plan:

I find that reassuring because from what I've heard he speaks for me. I can sense too his genuine aim. And I feel I can learn from him. I would die to have his energy again. I don't see anything to get excited about with his drug policy, or maybe that's a different topic. Hey, at least he's going in the right direction even if legalization isn't on his platform right now. I like where he intends to take the country. It's a good place. OK, I looked at his ideas on drug legalization, and he seems to be ok with it. Thanks for the posts!

Martin O'Malley vows marijuana change if he becomes president.

http://www.baltimoresun.com/news/maryland/politics/bs-md-omalley-marijuana-20150917-story.html

2014: A year of reform

The 2014 session brought about several victories for marijuana policy reform in Maryland. On April 14, 2014, then-Gov. Martin O’Malley signed legislation to remove criminal penalties for the possession of small amounts of marijuana, along with twin bills that will finally provide qualifying patients with safe, legal access to medical marijuana.

The decriminalization law replaced criminal penalties and possible jail time with civil fines for those possessing less than 10 grams of marijuana. The 2014 medical marijuana law empowered the Natalie M. LaPrade Medical Marijuana Commission to provide relief to patients without the participation of hospitals and to register dispensaries and growers to provide medical cannabis directly to registered patients whose certifying physicians recommend it.

I'm impatient with 'he's young,' I'm NOT that young, and I see him as the best able to implement policies I favor.

3 fb friends have 'liked,' and I don't usually do politics there, just a light, occasional comment. High school and college friends, and parents of my kids' friends, usually family & home pics, but HAD to share it.

among our three excellent candidates for the nomination. I appreciate the hard work he has done, working with other people from all walks of life, toward urban areas. They're a vital part of our country. His campaign and policy proposals should be heard far and wide among our party.

Thanks for sharing this elleng.

...last summer, and how he was "so tough" that now MO'M won't come back, I felt like calling in and saying O'Malley won't come back because your ratings are less than my gas usage.

Just ticked me off is all. It's kind of like my relationship with people on this board. I know we agree on most things, but how the differences play out makes me want to fight. Not helpful.
