There are no accusations of theft, and previous accusations from DWS/Hillary were backpedaled almost immediately.

The Hillary campaign must have also known there was no database firewall, but said nothing. With the firewall down, searches by her campaign would have brought up hits on Sanders info. I find it hard to believe that they didnt notice. A full investigation is warranted.

Jeff Weaver, Sanders’ campaign manager:

"Clearly, while that information was made available to our campaign because of the incompetence of the vendor, it should not have been looked at. Period"

Sanders communications director Michael Briggs:

"After discussion with the DNC it became clear that one of our staffers accessed some modeling data from another campaign. That behavior is unacceptable, and that staffer was immediately fired."

http://www.npr.org/2015/12/18/460273748/bernie-sanders-campaign-locked-out-of-key-voter-file-after-data-breach

What the Sander's campaign did was unethical and stupid. Calling it theft is just calling it what it is.

Nothing was stolen, and anything done that was inappropriate was done by staffers, not the campaign. The campaign took completely appropriate action by dismissing staff, and apologized in front of millions on live TV.

IT's generally a fair minded effort to level the playing field, but your attempts at framing Bernie as being just as dishonest as Hillary fails badly, even if you attain your objective.

Rather than make excuses and engage in quibbling you might want to recomend just moving on. No one outside of bernie's supporters would disagree.

..... my post quotes only the sander's campaign.

.... my criticism is directed only at the sander's campaign and those sanders supporters who are playing the victim and making excuses . Not at sanders himself or his supporters in general.

Information from both campaigns will come up in any queries ran. That's how databases work. That would mean any queries ran by the Clinton campaign would have also returned results from both campaign databases. The big difference is Hillary's campaign said nothing. They sat on it. Why is that? Only a FULL investigation will tell us for sure.

CNN is owned by Time Warner. One of Hillary's biggest campaign contributors. Anything yet have to say about Sanders is meaningless partisan tripe, IMHO.
