Hillary never lied about Trump and a video.

She never said they MADE a Trump video. She said they're USING Trump videos for recruiting. And of course they are. His obnoxious videos are all over youtube, viewable all over the world.

It never occurred to me when I heard her speak, that she meant they had a specially produced video used for recruiting. Any Democrat who thinks that should listen to her again.

That's NOT what she said.

"They are going to people showing videos of Donald Trump insulting Islam and Muslims in order to recruit more radical jihadists," Clinton said.

The remarks led some to criticize Clinton for what they said is a false claim. The SITE Intelligence Group and several news outlets have said there is no evidence of any such videos.

“For now, it seems that Clinton has turned speculative left-of-center rhetoric into fact,” PolitiFact wrote. “… We were unable to find any evidence to support [the claim]. The Clinton campaign did not provide any evidence that this is already happening -- only that it could be happening, or that it may in the future. If ISIS was using Trump for recruitment videos, we would expect a frenzy of media coverage over it.”

Clinton's campaign has responded, citing a remark made by the executive director of the SITE Intelligence Group. "They follow everything Donald Trump says," Rita Katz told NBC. "When he says, 'No Muslims should be allowed in America,' they tell people, 'We told you America hates Muslims, and here is proof.'"

Don't listen to Lawrence O'Donnell or the rest of the talking heads who are claiming that you're exaggerating and lying about Trump.
There is nothing false about what she said. Trumps' comments are offending and enraging Muslims, and are part of what is inspiring some radicals to join these terrorist organizations. He was right to be called out for it, and it needs to happen more often and by his Republican peers.

And I think she opened the door for someone else to attack him . . . From the Right. I haven't seen the denouncements of Clinton from Bush or Kasich - I wonder what they think about this.

becomes - they higher he goes up in the polls. Like they can't figure out that they are part of the problem.

Lying implies some form of intentional deceit - at worst one could argue that her wording was not precise, perfectly and technically accurate enough - but my Lord - they are comparing that to Donald Trump? They can't possibly be serious.
