Obama's Broken Promises

I hate to say this, but it’s true. I’m extremely disappointed in Obama. There were so many things we were promised that have not been delivered.

For example, as nurse and frequent monetary contributor, I was promised a seat on one of the Death Panels. When this did not materialize, I was promised a seat on one of the boards that decided who would be rounded up and sent to Interment Camps. I had already promised some of my Republican friends I’d rule strongly in favor of them being sent to some of the nice ones, with private toilets. This did not materialize either, and now I look like a big fat liar. Thanks, Barack.

Also, where are all those guns and Bibles we were supposed to be taking away from people? Most of the people I know have more guns, not less. Not one single freaking gun has been taken away from anybody! You were going to destroy the second amendment, you promised! How are we supposed to conduct a proper “roundup” with all these millions of people with guns?

I assumed, by now, my grandchildren would be learning all about Saul Alinsky and Marxism/Leninism in public schools (headed by Bill Ayers, by the way), and being taught all about the benefits of communism. My grandchildren don’t even know who Saul Alinsky is and they think Lenin was a Beatle ! WTH?!

And health care was supposed to be FREE .. for everybody. "Medicare for all", we called it. As a nurse, I was really excited about this, because I wouldn’t have to work half as hard as I do now. We all knew there would be lines out the door, and no one would be able to get treatment, since every citizen would be eligible for it. I could take my sweet time getting to them, because everybody knows that people in those dangerous socialist countries like France and Sweden die all the time from lack of health care. It was expected!

As it is, these people without insurance still come to my ER and expect to be treated immediately, even when they’re having a heart attack. You even expanded coverage for poor kids. Can you imagine?! At least Newt wants to put them to work as janitors; but you, you’re putting food on their table and that wife of yours is encouraging them to eat well and prosper!

All those old and poor people were supposed to be first to go. Instead, you cut prescription drug costs for Medicare recipients by 50% and began eliminating the plan’s gap in coverage. You preserved access to care for Medicare beneficiaries and expanded eligibility for Medicaid. What were you thinking?

And where’s my money? You said we’d share the wealth. Take all the money away from those greedy millionaires and spread it around. But I have just about the same amount of money I did when this whole thing started. More broken promises !

Then, you were supposed to flood the country with illegal aliens, like Che Guevara. Instead, you request $600 million in emergency funding, deported more illegals and deployed more drones on the border.

Instead of promoting and appeasing terrorists, like you were ordered to do, you went and killed Bin Laden, and those pirates and saved a bunch of Americans. You caught more terrorists in one month than Bush/Cheney did in six years. You were NOT supposed to destroy the leadership of Al Qaeda, get the last U.S. troops out of Iraq, and assist in toppling two Middle Eastern dictators!

I think this ‘leader of the free world’ stuff has detracted you from your original Mission.

(oh, and that secret ‘fist-bump’ was supposed to be SECRET!)

Also, and this really upsets me, we had been working for decades to sneak you into American politics. From the day you were born a Muslim in Kenya, we’d worked tirelessly faking all those documents and paying people off to say they knew you. And look what you went and did. You waited so long to release that fake birth certificate that Donald Trump found you out ! The Donald, no less !

You’ve been careless, Mr. President.

Well, four years later, here we are, in a stupid democracy or republic or whatever. Our military is stronger than ever, the economy is improving, and Americans are going back to work. George Bush left you a PERFECT STORM to turn this republic into a commie/socialist empire, but you’ve blown it. Really, really blown it. All you had to do was let all those car companies go bankrupt, quit stimulating the stupid economy and trying to create jobs! Hell, those Republicans who keep voting down your jobs bill are doing more to wreck this country than you are! And now, we have Clint Eastwood on TV reminding people of all that crap you did for Detroit.

Clint ! It’s as bad as having John Wayne touting your achievements.

Well, I could go on, but I think you get my point. You’ve wimped out. Our one chance at getting a real Manchurian Candidate into office and you’ve blown it. Oh, sure, we’ll start hearing all those tired scary slogans again and seeing all those photoshopped pictures of you with your hand over the wrong side of your chest, not wearing a flag pin. But who are we going to fool this time? People will say you were just biding your time, waiting for the safety of your second term to start turning America into the communist state we’ve all been waiting for.

But I won’t be fooled again. You’ve betrayed us. And worst of all, I think you’ve started believing your own fake identity.

You’ve turned into a real American.

And me? Well, I’m being sent back on another mission: to try to find the next Manchurian Candidate. It’s going to be freakin cold in Siberia. Thanks for nothing.

Great parody.

But, lets at peart be honest. WE accuse the other side of distorting facts consistently for misguided reasons, or for no reason at all. We can't then be guilty of the same handling of our own affairs.

The far left of our party remain upset with the President...and for good reason.

Guantanamo remains open. Military tribunals continue even as we speak. The Patriot Act expansion robs us of more and more liberty, daily.

Banks were bailed out, and the foreclosure measures taken have been rock solid failures.

Labor was more than promised card check, and the President had a House & Senate Majority for 2 years and failed to honor his promise.

He bailed on single payer, to get "something"...and even that won't fully phase in until after the end of what would be his second term...leaving open completely, the possibility that a republucan president in 2016 WOULD kill the entire deal...which would leave consumers with nothing more than the unbelievable rate increases we have all endured...and no benefit at all.

The bottom line is...even with republicans nominating Herman Cain...this was no walk in the park. Personally, I DID bundle for the President, working on both coasts for more than a year. And today, Progressive Far Left Democrats who moved mountains for this President are on the sidelines, willing to cast a third party vote for Ron Paul, or anyone who will end wars without starting others, and be at least as concerned about the freedom of our own citizens, ad those in the Arab Spring.

Dont get me wrong...I'm on the team...but Clint it's right. The second half will be a lot tougher that your Posting suggests. And, if we dint fight twice as hard in November, the outcome may not be pretty.

commercials on TV, and hearing it come up in debates, but not one single person tells us WHY it needs to be repealed, except for the 'mandatory' purchase thing, which is the same as Romneycare; and which would be subsidized by the government. And they get away with saying it ! No one ever says, "OK, so you're in favor of pre-existing conditons". Or, "So, you think it's OK for 40 million americans to be without any insurance at all, and thus at risk for going bankrupt or dying from illness".

As I said, I work in the ER. And I haven't seen any difference at all, except our ERs keep getting busier and busier because more and more people can't afford health insurance. I'm a nurse, and I don't have any.

But, I did get this much out of them before my meltdown.

They said that hospitals were mainly concerned with staffing when the bill
finally takes affect. They assume that their volume will expand because
more people will be insured, hence more patients.

What I don't get though is that sure there may be a slight increase in patients, but it will be more than
offset by the number of people who will just go to a regular doctor if they have the flu and not the

gripes that we started hearing about way back when was about what they call "pay for performance", where the documentation has to be up to par and patient satisfaction (in other words PATIENT CARE) has to be at an acceptable level to get Medicare/Medicaid reimbursement. So, if you are understaffed, and your patient waits 8 hours for treatment, or gets substandard treatment, or you have nurses on the floor responsible for 15 patients.. then your scores, ergo, your pay, will go down.

Of course, NO hospital wants to staff as needed. I mean, why give ER patients a 1:3 nurse ratio when you can get away with giving them one nurse who's going nuts trying to take care of 7 patients?

At least half of the patients I see in ERs in the south have NO insurance whatsoever. And we know we aren't getting paid. Up north, the ratios are a bit better, but still, every patient having insurance.. how can that be a BAD thing? Preventative medicine and insurance won't be a negative.. for anybody, IMHO.

I don't agree with the way we're getting there, but baby steps, baby steps

doctor doesn't have to take you. A hospital doesn't even have to keep you or do surgery unless you are literally dying. People like to say "somebody can always get treatment", but that's really not true. Most of the people we see "literally dying" in the ER are there because they had no money for meds, or to go to a doctor to keep their BP or diabetes under control, for example.

And of the non-insured, probably only 25% of them are in the ER because of something life-threatening. The rest, especially in the South, are there because they use the ER like a clinic, or are there for pain meds. Now, some hospital have started implementing a triage system that includes a Level 5, which is the bulls*** patient. And if they don't have money to fork over prior to being seen, they don't get seen. This kind of ritual ER abuse isn't so prevalent in more affluent neighborhoods, counties or even in more educated states.

The whole system is irretrievably broken. Nothing Obama did is going to fix it. The Republicans want the poor to die, and boy, they are getting their wish.

You are correct ... but there is so much more!!

Obama promised to make sure that every woman in the country would be forced to have an abortion, and that abortion was to be performed by a GAY OGBYN, who came from France!!!! Well, I can tell you that he broke this promise too!!

And ... he also promised that by the end of his first term, my son would be singing Show Tunes as a hobby, and that all of our children would be reciting passages from the Koran, word for word. I had to home school them just so they could find Mecca on a map. Its a freakin travesty!!!

Oh ... don't even get me started on the promise to end Christmas!!! He's had a tree every %$#$% year!! And he does that Easter Egg thing!!! .... WTF!!!

And where is the Socialism he promised?? How many of the DOW 30, or even the S&P 500 has Obama nationalized?? NOT %$#$% one!!!! I mean come on, at this pace, Newt's moon colony will be a socialist state before the US becomes one.

Look, bottom line ... when I vote for the Anti-Christ candidate, and he wins ... I $%#$$%% expect the Anti-Christ to deliver!!

Good luck Kay ... finding the right child Messiah is a tough task.
