'The Equivalent of Dressing Up in His Father's Trooper Uniform'

Today we saw the real Mitt Romney once again. Not the one they try to portray in commercials or conventions, but the real Mitt. The one who likes to dress up in uniforms of authority and pretend to be in control.

I would remind you of recollections of a friend of Romney during his time at Stanford:

“He told us that he had gotten the uniform from his father,” George Romney, then the Governor of Michigan, whose security detail was staffed by uniformed troopers. “He told us that he was using it to pull over drivers on the road. He also had a red flashing light that he would attach to the top of his white Rambler. We thought it was all pretty weird. We all thought, ‘Wow, that’s pretty creepy.’ And after that, we didn’t have much interaction with him.”

So today, we see Mitt Romney dressing up like the President, standing in a set with White House blue curtains, a podium and American flags behind him... taking questions from a press corps on international issues of importance. There's only one thing. Mitt Romney is not the President. And this little exercise in play acting brings back into clear focus the maniacal mindset that rests in that head of his that if he has enough money, and dresses the part, and simply keeps saying whatever enters that big head of his -- that sooner or later, he'll be taken seriously.

Well, playacting the President in a crisis moment only serves to remind us of the REAL Mitt Romney who put on his father's trooper uniform to pull over the unsuspecting victim to which he gamed into believing he was powerful. In control. A leader. The man.

Well, this incident of Romney standing up as a parallel universe President, misstating facts as truths, blatantly stepping in front of the camera as if to assert himself as the diplomatic voicebox of the country, should alarm the voters from both parties. These sophomoric games of playing dress up and acting in a role do not aid our country. They only distract from reality, pander to his shaky base and undermine the genuine authority of the U.S. government to be the sole voice in its important roll as leader of the free world and a voice of reason in turbulent and uncontrolled areas of the world in search of truth and maturity on the international stage.

Mitt Romney showed neither truth nor maturity when he stood up in a fake Presidential Press Room and tried to insert himself into world events. Instead, he showed himself to be an attention-hungry, short-sighted and low-morals candidate who is trying to impress anyone who will listen in a sad attempt to make up for his inability to get the attention in any other way... whether earned from dutiful service or genuine accomplishment.

When someone is so desperate to become President that they end up play acting the role in a pitiful attempt of masturbative self-satisfaction, we have to wonder. How sane is this man? And how safe would America be if this person were put into a position of REAL control in responding to international events as they unfolded. Even when all the facts were not in, and especially when surrounding themselves with war machine hawks who got us into multiple wars which we have yet to end even after a decade.

How dangerously unprepared is this candidate to be President of the United States?

I think Mitt answered that today.

He is nothing but a figment of his OWN imagination, dressed up in a trooper uniform of authority, pretending to be of significance.

And Americans have no use for it.

The only break in his murderous, sadistic attacks, according to the biography & psychologists who attempted to explore the motivations of this serial killer, was the period of time he was employed as a code enforcer. He had a uniform and a position of authority which he could use to bully people. I think Mitt is a psycho.

(I believe CNN ran the biography, but it could have been another network.)

I wonder if anyone has done a profile of him based on his history with his father, and what is motivating him

We know he was a bully (he wouldn't admit it but didn't try to refute the many reports by school mates who observed him). I've read numerous articles that say high power CEOs have a higher than normal percentage of sociopaths. A psychological profile would be interesting indeed!
