Trump Whines To Fox About Clinton 'Playing The Woman Card'

http://crooksandliars.com/2015/12/trump-whines-fox-about-clinton-playing

Poor Donald. That mean old Hillary is picking on him for daring to point out that he's a hate-filled, raging sexist. Most of the Sunday shows gave their viewers a break from Trump this weekend, but you can always count on Fox to be willing to give him some more air time.

From Fox's blog: Trump: 'We All Have to Fight Fairly' in 2016 Race, Hillary 'Playing the Woman's Card' :

Donald Trump phoned into "Fox and Friends Weekend" to comment on being labeled a sexist by Hillary Clinton and redirecting that attack against her husband, who joins her on the campaign trail next month.

Trump took to Twitter Saturday night to slam Clinton by citing her husband’s history of marital infidelity and alleged sexual misconduct. He used the same phrase -- "penchant for sexism" -- that was used by Clinton in response to Trump saying she got "schlonged" in her 2008 primary loss to Barack Obama. [...]

Trump said his tweet about the former President was "fair game."

"His presidency was really considered to be very troubled, to put it mildly, because of all of the things that's she talking to me about."

The GOP front-runner said that Hillary has got to be "careful" and that the presidential contest must be waged fairly.

"We all have to fight fairly, and we have to fight for the good of the country, for the good of the people, for the good of everybody," Trump said.

He added that Clinton is "playing the woman's card, and it's like 'Give me a break.'"

Trump said that "women are more upset about it than anybody else."

.

There are institutional constructs in place that suppress women to a cap of 20% of Federally elected positions.

Any mention of looks, family, etc. either is ignored on men or bolster their ratings, while the same takes 5% away from a woman candidate.

===

The politicos know this, and when it is mentioned by a candidate, a candidate's team, the press, etc., it's all done to drive the electability of an opposing woman candidate down. There is no other purpose for it. They should stay on topic, not talking about glasses or the like.

So any mention of looks, clothing, shrill voice, funny laugh, clothing, etc.. all has negative consequences for a woman--even if those statements are made as a 'compliment.'

In politics, these things aren't really relevant. Especially, how certain TV commentors talk about how 'hot' someone is.

That is not obvious, given my statement in the first comment.

Or do you always restate another persons comment and try to use it as a sad and pathetic rebuttal?

There isn't one statement Trump has ever made in this campaign season that he doesn't later clarify, re-word or escalate, but never ever walks back or apologizes for, because in his megalomaniacal mind he simple can't ever be wrong. And his fans will concur.... Or eventually come around to Trumps way of thinking.

Frankly I'd think she'd be a much stronger candidate if she did focus on the issues, and didn't play perpetual victim.

If you cry victim over Trump's 8 year old attacks, you're falling right into his trap. Show you're above it.

You guys did this to yourself...both R and D establishment.

Other than pretending to care about social issues to lock up votes of particular demographics, there's not much difference between GOPe and De. Very sad that people can't see that (or do see it, but turn a blind eye for the sake of the party).

I voted for Kerry, Obama twice, and love Joe Biden the most.

After spending a few months volunteering on a campaign, I realized that I'm just a pawn in a big, high stakes game. We all are, unless you're worth 8 figures and donate big bucks. It was very sad to realize that the objective of partisan politics (R or D) is to divide the poor, pander to the base, and energize your side through hate. Why? so the establishment can get their horses to the general.

Hell, the VP was a pawn this summer/fall. Lemme let you in on a secret...the only reason we extended that campaign was to distract the media from HRC's upcoming hearing. He was never going to run, but the establishment played a mourning father (THE SITTING VP!) to serve as a distraction for the Queen. If I had known that, I'd never have volunteered with those scumbags.

That was the tipping point for me...the sitting VP was used, along with his diehard volunteer supporters, to protect a crook with zero political skill. The party chose demographics over character and integrity.

So the way I see it, the establishment fucked me first, yet they still want me to get in line like a good boy. They can fuck off.
