Why does Martin O'Malley have so little support in Maryland?

To me, it's significant to the primary race and germane to his chances. An October poll shows him getting 4% of the vote.

The voters in Maryland know O'Malley better than voters nationwide, but they don't seem to have faith in him. In NY, Hillary is far more favored and in Vermont, Bernie has high approval ratings.

What is it about O'Malley that voters in his home state have so little faith in him? He won 2 statewide elections. What happened?

I've always thought his political reputation was over-rated.

I think his record in MD is great but this is very troubling.
