Adherence to the agreed upon terms is completely voluntary. In other words, countries like China and India may have signed off on the document, but they don't actually have to comply to its terms if they don't want to.

who has not been fighting meaningfully FOR action on climate action for years. Let's try for a little honesty, shall we? There's an enormous difference between blowing smoke and actual work. Bernie's not the candidate who hunted down the Chinese delegation with President Obama at the Copenhagen climate summit or the candidate who addressed it. Bernie's not the Democratic candidate who spent years been laying groundwork around the planet for the Paris summit.

Wed Dec 30, 2015, 10:35 PM

Representatives of 196 nations all drove their motorcades to their respective airports.
From there, they all flew to Paris in private jets, just them and their aides and attendants.
Once in Paris, they settled in to enjoy the usual internationally-shipped food, drink, and accouterments that the wealthy and powerful are accustomed to.
For a few days, they talked, and ate, and high-fived on the dime of Paris.
Then they reached a historic, monumental agreement! They all looked at global warming, drained the last bits of wine out of their glasses and said "Yup, that looks pretty bad."
Then they had another meal.
Then they piled back into their private jets, and flew all over the world again.
Then they got in their motorcades, drove back to their respective capitols, and went back to business as usual.

All these nations showed up, non-bindingly agreed that science is real, and went home.

North pole could be 35C warmer than average this week, warn meteorologists

The north pole could be hotter than Chicago, Vienna or Istanbul on Wednesday due to the low pressure system that has brought tornados to Dallas and high winds and heavy rainfall to the UK.

The Arctic could reach temperatures about 35C (63F) warmer than average for this time of year, meteorologists have warned.

Computer model projections earlier this week suggested that the air temperature at the pole, which is currently shrouded in 24-hour darkness, could reach 5C, rather than the usual -30 to -35C, according to Mashable. This would make it milder than much of Canada and the US.

Temperature fluctuations are fairly common in the Arctic, where shifts in sea ice cover can significantly affect local air temperatures, but such a strong variation is extreme.

it takes 6 or 7 times the water to process corn into fuel as apposed to switch grass or hemp

sometimes we do the stupidest stuff and in this case it is because of the war on drugs people (like the clintons) that are afraid of hemp
