Clinton Vows to Hold U.S. Accountable in Fighting Climate Change

Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton says “historic” UN climate agreement reached this month in Paris now must be enforced.

Clinton says if elected she would use every tool available to “hold other nations accountable, including our own, about what we need to do, both to try desperately to move more quickly away from fossil fuels toward clean renewable energy” and try to “at least put a cap on temperature rise and emissions”

Clinton speaks at campaign event in Portsmouth, N.H., which she notes is coastal city that needs federal govt to help deal with shifting climate

Clinton says climate change offers economic opportunities that U.S. now “leaving on the table” amid debate over the science

Especially when the even THAT agreement was a consensus that yup, science is real.
