FUN FACTS ABOUT SCOTT BROWN

Things I discovered doing a bit of my own research about "bipartisan" Scott Brown:

In 53 roll call votes where Republicans could filibuster, block cloture, block "up or down" majority vote...
Scott voted contrary to the Republicans TWICE before Warren entered the race
and 11 times since entering. (massprogress.org)

Sample of his voting Record:

"Buffett Rule" to ensure minimum of 30% tax rate for those earning $1 million or more -- against
"Too Big To Fail" act, Big banking regulations -- against
"DISCLOSE" act, transparency in campaign contributions, PACs, etc. -- against
"Equal pay for equal work", similar to Lily Ledbetter -- against
Repealing tax loopholes for Big Oil -- against
Repealing subsidies for Big Oil -- against
Jobs Bill of 2011 -- against
Rebuild America, infrastructure stimulus package -- against
Mandating financial industry/Wall St. to pay fees to finance Frank-Dodd regulations -- against
The Blunt Amendment, restricting contraceptives -- FOR

Jobs Bill 2012 -- FOR
Violence Against Women Act -- FOR
(once he knew Warren was in the race) (progressmass.org)

Sample of his top 20 campaign donors:

(4) Goldman Sachs
(7) Price Waterhouse Cooper
(8) JP Morgan
(9) BAIN Capital (yup, THAT BAIN Capital)
(12) BONY Mellon
(16) Morgan Stanley

Rated as a top recipient of donations from hedge fund, venture capital and financial/equity firms

Vowed to kibosh any tax cuts for middle class that didn't include the top 1%.

All donations from financial industry totaling about $788, 600 out of approx. $12 million raised this year

More individual donations came from New York than Boston

Campaign strategy and tactics:

1) Go "Missing In Action" from RNC
2) Referring to Ms Warren as "professor" in derisive way to show anti-intellectual bona fides.
3) Never use the word "Republican"
4) Look working-class, associate with the working-class, and pretend to be moderate and bipartisan.
5) Never mention any of these above facts.
6) Catchy Slogan: "He's for us" (if you work on Wall St.)

Please disseminate to anyone in Massachusetts. Donate to Warren's campaign !!!!!!!
