5.0 out of 5 stars FINALLY! August 24, 2012
By Tracy Hamilton
Someone has answered my gentle prayers and FINALLY designed a pen that I can use all month long! I use it when I'm swimming, riding a horse, walking on the beach and doing yoga. It's comfortable, leak-proof, non-slip and it makes me feel so feminine and pretty! Since I've begun using these pens, men have found me more attractive and approchable. It has given me soft skin and manageable hair and it has really given me the self-esteem I needed to start a book club and flirt with the bag-boy at my local market. My drawings of kittens and ponies have improved, and now that I'm writing my last name hyphenated with the Robert Pattinson's last name, I really believe he may some day marry me! I'm positively giddy. Those smart men in marketing have come up with a pen that my lady parts can really identify with.

Where has this pen been all my life???

Here's how a bad pen day goes. You start off with, perhaps, a nice one. Maybe you bought pack of those gels things- oh wait, that patient is in isolation let's just leave the pen in there. Grab one from the house supply run in and out of a couple of rooms, including the isolation one. Where the hell is my pen? Desperate, you swipe someone else's outside a room. A nice one, with some logo on it. You mean to return it. Honestly. Somehow that one falls out of your pocket. Or something. Where the hell is my pen THIS time???? You run back up to the house supply after writing numbers on the white board so you don't forget with a dry erase pen. House supply is out, except for red pens, which really, you're not supposed to use. Fuck it. You'll just write over it in black ink later.

Interrupted at the front desk with phone calls, you forget to go find a black ink pen but you still have the red one. In fact, the red one never goes away. Your day is calmer you now have your black ink pen, but somehow you've ended up with TWO red ink pens. Fortunately, the day is nearing its end and you don't care. You chuck the red ink pen, never find your original pen, until two days later in the break room. The borrowed pen is completely lost. You're convinced red pens are under an evil curse.

And all this time, it's no doubt that lack of femininity in my choice of pens that's been the problem all along....

Between this and the "pink" and "blue" toy aisles at Target, I just want to scream.

The world has gone completely loony.

Men and women are like 99.9% the same, and the whole world fixates on the .1% difference. (Yes I made that up off the top of my head and no I don't have "a link".)

Edit to add: the Amazon reviews cheered me up immensely though, they are hilarious!
