just paint a big S on my forehead.

have teens? they think parents are stupid, lol. over the last 24 hours, both the boys have made statements that leave me looking at them saying.... you think i am stupid? no shit? duh? i can read.... lol

we go thru little periods of this.... rarely, but it happens.

and it has happened in the last small period of time where i am noticing and getting pissed. i told them, just paint an S on my forehead for stupid.

last night, my hubby said something to me. another one of those i wanted to say, no shit, duh, moments.

i said, yes honeybunch, i know. walking away, having had enough i said,

why dont we paint an S on my forehead.

he yells out

for

SUPERWOMAN?

he never misses a step. i mean, never.

i love my man.

Explain the use of certain tools. Once, he actually started explaining an Allen wrench to me.

But it's all good. I remember the first time we put something together without fighting--it was one of those outdoor swinging benches. Now we're mostly good. He gets physically fatigued with his MS so I get to be the 'muscle' although he's still actually much stronger than I am. I've learned to be a little less defensive with his explanations of how things should work. He's right about things more often than not.

He's learned not to explain how to hammer, saw or use a screwdriver. He's better at dishes and laundry than I am, (he has more patience)I'm a better cook and better at putting things together. I tell him it's because I read the instructions.
