I just now watched the Beyonce half time show!

I know, what dud I am huh!?!

Well, just for the record, it was fine. I saw nothing wrong with it, except she barely sang the songs.

That's all folks, not much more to say! For me anyhow.

I haven't seen an entire halftime show in years. To me, one is interchangeable with another.

So, I did, and after watching, still didn't understand what all the hoopla was about.

From what I understand, it was just another halftime show, no better or worse than any other. I don't quite get it either, so I stayed out of it. I'm waiting for it to go away.

It's not like she's a controversial figure or anything. Just a pop star. The first time I really listened to her was at the inaugural address. She has a beautiful voice.

Football glorifies and rewards male violence and don't even get me started on the problems I have with the sexed up NFL cheerleaders

Male violence plus women as decorative accessories equals Madras is not interested

talent.

i was disappointed. i was frustrated. i thought it was just me. i could not hear her when she was singing and there was not a lot of singing. and i didnt find a good beat in the music. toward the end of the show i mumbled that her dance really was not appropriate for the mass audience..... i am not sure what she was doing that pulled that comment from me, but wasnt a big deal. and though is was stripper costume, i thought it modest and ok for dance and wasnt bothered by the outfit either. i get what people are saying, but personally i thought it not bad as a whole. the flinging the hair thing was too much. a couple times, ok. but... again, just not a big deal.

over all though, i was not impressed with her, not the show.

then i went into a thread that said her she is in a gown. she sang and i was able to hear, and judge her voice. i thought it was good.

the super bowl is the highest watched event across the nation with such a diverse audience. a performer, i feel, has a responsibility to take their audience into consideration. and if not, will get the criticism along with people that loved her.

overall, a meh for me.

i feel we dont get to the issue when talking about the "nipplegate". we act like it was the fact that we all saw a nipple. that was not an issue for me. on that one, i felt that it was planned. the dance and song the two were doing, i felt that when he ripped the garment it purposely took the whole of the garment and she not very well, pretended a coy modesty. that is what bothered me with the jackson thing. i do not believe it was an accident. and with the white man/black woman act, it felt like history and black woman having no control. that is why i was bothered with that one.
