On Friday, the first SafeNight donation was processed.

SafeNight is a mobile service that allows domestic violence service organizations to crowdsource funding for hotel rooms when there is an urgent need and no available shelter space.

We’re excited to be at this point.

And we need your help to move this project forward.

According to an annual domestic violence census from The National Network to End Domestic Violence, on one day in 2012, there were 6,818 requests for shelter that went unmet.

We believe we can change that.

SafeNight uses the power of community, mobile technology and available hotel space to build a virtual shelter for those suffering from intimate partner violence.
