This would be an over the top obvious example of a woman colluding with the patriarchy

Schlafly says contraception issue contrived

“Contraception is not controversial,” she said. “The issue is not access. It’s who’s going to pay for it.”................

And feminists are working through the media and other channels because the American public no longer seems to strongly support their agenda, Schlafly said. “Feminists are having a hard time being elected because they essentially are unlikable,” she said.

Schlafly talked to a group of Citadel students about the culture of conservatism and the history of the religious right. She told the all-male group that “feminist is a bad word and everything they stand for is bad.”

And she warned them about having personal relationships with feminists. “Find out if your girlfriend is a feminist before you get too far into it,” she said. “Some of them are pretty. They don’t all look like Bella Abzug.”

medical expenses, labor, childbirth, and dependent coverage for TEN CHILDREN? Ask them that if they don't want to pay for contraception!

It's important to expose right-wing authoritarian nutjobs like Shlafly for what they are; along with the groups they promote, like the CWA and AFA, and their associated "science" (cough) departments.

So now we'll know the "WHY", if any of these future military officers either look the other way or commit sexual crimes against women in the military.

Who was the brainless fuck that even came up with the idea to let this Harpy speak?

and she didn't want anyone else to encroach on her territory. the fact that she was, and remains, a prime hypocrite, seems to escape her followers. she was a lawyer who told women to stay out of the workplace, to stay home and raise their children (while a nanny raised hers as she traveled all over the country.) She was the darling of the reich, "the sweetheart of the silent majority (who were neither silent nor a majority) and she wanted all that fame and attention to herself.

and such a hawk, as she demanded that our daughters not be compelled to military service. she used to say that anybody who objected to being blown up in a nuclear attack was a craven coward.

At least as far as I can tell from all the pictures of her in her late 40's to possibly late 50's even then she was quite striking. Not, that that matters, but that insinuation that she was not beautiful should be called out.

Shoofly on the other hand, she is nothing but ugly on the inside. She is just lucky she isn't as ugly on the outside, even if she isn't aging well. What a freaking harpy. Preaching that women should stay home with their kids and how much time did she spend as a stay at home mom. The woman is insufferable. Luckily she has no power.

about women's rights, the fight for the ERA, etc. my favourite time was when she and betty friedan were on the panel--so here is phyllis, in her perfect pink dress, her perfect little pearls, her perfectly coiffed hair (honestly, so much hairspray it makes callista's do look casual), her perfectly modulated little voice, telling women they should stay home and raise their kids (while a nanny was raising hers). and then there was betty--who had a habit of running her hand through her hair while she was talking, so that, at the end, her hair was sticking up all over the place, as she made mincemeat of dear phyllis.

not only that, I had the opportunity to challenge p. several times in person. THAT was fun.!!
