Some of us walked, Ellen did as well. Some of us should just run like hells fire is at our feet. To many stay.

The gun under the mattress was a deciding factor for me.

I called the cops, they took him away, and I left the house when he was in jail. I never went back.

You left and never went back.

Did not take me long to walk away. His dad use to listen to the police band, he knew when they were there. It was the neighbors that made the calls.
