A sure fire method of ensuring minors don't get access to things they're not supposed to access - the honor system.

Wanted a log in or log in through Google or something else. It did have a button for over 18. Still had to log in.

There's a disgusting scene of a prostitute being murdered in a cab by her pimp. Totally sexualized scene. I turned the channel it was so disgusting.

I can remember it being discussed on this forum many years ago. Yet, I keep seeing these claims that Reddit has totally cleaned up its act in this respect.

I wonder what else is lurking there in its many subreddits.

I don't know if agencies that deal with investigating this kind of thing would be interested. I couldn't see the posts-- given I'm not registered there-- but I get the gist. It is possible it is considered too tame compared to the worst of the worst on the dark web, but Reddit ought to be publicly called out for it at least.

People share information about the worst of the worst so it can be reported - it's neverending. They just make new accounts and new subs. It's so depressing.

That reddit is focused on women's needs and perspective, so I believe it helps some women avoid or leave bad situations. I've learned and gained perspective just reading some threads on there.
