Has D.U. slowed down it's algorithm?

It seems that articles in latest breaking news and the front page are staying up much longer than on the last version.

One of the things I love about DU is its fast pace, every day and sometimes twice a day there would be new fresh stuff to read.
Now it seems I come back a day or two later, and nothing has changed.
Not complaining, just wondering if I'm losing my marbles.

Ah, it's not that it's slowed down, it's that we rearranged the items EarlG Nov 2023 #1

At least, on a phone...

The "Left Column/Featured Stories" items used to be below the "Trending" and "Greatest" sections, but now they're at the top. "Left Column/Featured Stories" items only update twice a day, while the "Trending" and "Greatest" sections move more quickly.

Based on the feedback we've received since launch, we're going to be making some changes to the home page -- hopefully this week --to improve this situation.
