Upload a photo to the above site.

It will create a series of links after you upload it.

Copy the SECOND link (called direct link) into your post.

Hit preview before submitting your post, and you should see your picture.

Note: If your photo is a .webp, you must convert it to a .jpg before uploading. Do a google search on wepb to jpg, and you will find a site where you can do this.

Sometimes, if the pic is not a jpeg (for example, a webp file) when you upload it to the site, just the link will show in your post, instead of the actual picture.

I run into this frequently, so I go to this site first:

https://ezgif.com/webp-to-jpg

Use the above site to convert the webp to jpg, and then download the jpg pic to your computer, and then upload the jpg pic to the site in my first response.

If your pic is already a jpg, you shouldn't have to do this extra step.

I'm not sure how to create a thumbnail. There may be a way to do it on my first link (maybe one of the links create a thumbnail), but I am not sure.

I'll take a quick look, and if I find anything, I'll post here.

It's in one's profile, where one chooses an avatar. Choose "edit avatar image," then "get file." I'm so excited!

Where I'm stymied, though, is in file size. Size limit is 10kb. I don't know how to resize a file. Do you?

Note: this function is only for star members.

within the many links created are two links called "thumbnail for forums" and "thumbnail for website".

Maybe one of those two links would work for creating a thumbnail.
