DU Community Help
Related: About this forumIs it possible to see my older posts, or is one page of "My Posts" all that is available to me?
I'd like very much to see posts I made about 2 or 3 months ago.

(8,543 posts)... you should also be able to navigate to the additional pages at the bottom of the post listings. It should look kind of like this:
[div style="margin-left:2em;"]Go to Page: [div style="display:inline; padding:0.25em; border: 1px solid #999999;"]1 [div style="display:inline; padding:0.25em; border: 1px solid #999999;"]2 [div style="display:inline; padding:0.25em; border: 1px solid #999999;"]3

(8,543 posts)At least that's what it seems to do for me. Your best bet to find older posts (without being able to use the DU3 search function) is to use the advanced search features at one of the web search engines. For example, an advanced google search for your username limited to democraticunderground.com and tageting the range of dates for the two months prior to the last thirty days:
http://www.google.com/search?q=%22red+dog+1%22+site%3Ademocraticunderground.com&tbs=cdr%3A1%2Ccd_min%3A6%2F25%2F2012%2Ccd_max%3A7%2F27%2F2012
Entry page to google's advanced search:
http://www.google.com/advanced_search
It probably won't find everything, but it's something...
If you really want to have the ability to view older posts, you should come up with a system to keep track of them. Perhaps once a month you could copy the URL of every post of yours listed on your 'My Posts' page(s) and PM them to yourself. Since you don't seem to be a very prolific poster, that shouldn't take too much time.

(27,844 posts)from a DUer who provided a kind of "definition" of what makes a good Duer..
It was one paragraph long, and went like.."A good Duer is friendly, treats other DUers with respect and kindness always, etc.."
I forgot his name; but he's been around here for quite a while, I remember that much.
