Why does a big Black AD that says it will end in 22 seconds

appear when it wants too. Not all the time but enough to annoy the hell out of me.

Wish you could see the screen
when I am trying to post to a forum!

I still see it at the bottom of this post -- the "AD" is a video that I do not hardly want to see.

It is now blocking the button that tells me to send so I will have to watch the damn thing again in order to quickly click the Send button.
Is it coming from Windows 8 -- which I hate with a passion?

I don't ever recall seeing this A at DU before.

HELP!

First, if you are using Firefox browser, you can download a free app called Ad Block.
2nd, FFox browser has an option under the view tab>page style>no style which makes almost all flash stuff just disappear. I use it when crap shows up on my page that I cannot navigate out of.

Firefox, under Preferences>content has a box you can check to block pop ups.

I never see ads, pop ups, or unwanted flash stuff when I browse.
Most non-Windows broswers have options to get rid of them.

I do appreciate your letting me know that about Windows.
