Hello... i'm new here

I wrote quite a bit about myself on my profile page, please feel free to look there for
some information about me..
If I wasn't clear, I lean hard toward the left, in most cases..

Thank you for giving me a place to go and be with similar, to like minded people.
FB, is exhausting where I live, and I needed badly to find a place where my views
may at least be acknowledged, maybe even shared, and agreed with at times...

I'm looking for a new home town, and it must be painted blue!

I think you will like it here! There's a lot of us upset Democrats in these parts, lol.

DU is a huge family. I have felt its warmth and support many times, and I hope you will too.

Come and play in the Lounge when you want a break from the politics. There we can be silly...

Some people think new members are trolls and tend to overreact to posts. just ignore it and move on and you will find most people welcome you and are appreciative of posts. .

May I also suggest you wear a helmet and pads if you post in general discussion for your first couple hundred posts. There are those that think they're the smartest people in the room in GD and they can be kind of mean (in my experience).
If you just want to chill out and not talk politics and have a little fun, try the lounge. It's pretty laid back in there. Oh, and could you bring some ice? We're always running low.

I'm Callmecrazy and I approved this message.

I enjoyed reading the 'manifesto' (for lack of a better term) in your profile.

Nice to meet a fellow hard-left leaner.

Looking for a blue home? It doesn't get much bluer than The Evergreen State. Come check us out.

Yeah, the eastern half of our state is a little red, but we outnumber them in the western half.

We have more people in Pierce and King Counties alone than in the entire red half of the state.

When you get a chance, step over to the Lounge and introduce yourself...

welcome.. Now im embarrassed about my profile
I never know what is to much, or two little in these cases.
Should I clean it up a little?
I like that you compared it to a manifesto.. That made me laugh.
I will come to the lounge and see what's going on.. To the left is
difficult to find.. Im glad you said hello.
Oh, it would be so wonderful to be around like mined people ..
The Evergreen State sounds beautiful.. Thank you for the tip,
if I head that way I certainly will make that announcement..
See you in the lounge.

I hope you'll check out my weekly feature, William Shakespeare's Thought For The Day. It's something I've been doing since around 2006. Previous editions are in my journal if you want to get an idea what it's about.

Don't feel self-conscious about your profile; leave it the way it is. I like reading about what DU-ers believe and why they feel that way.

There is a farmers market Sunday, a Copperfields Bookstore and not far from Santa Rosa for the bigger shops.

Yeah, welcome, and good luck with the relocation and all.
