I will visit the lounge.. I hear so much about it.. I'm a little shy still, but as I learn my way around and get to know some ppl, I will open up more..

The Lounge folks are generally friendly and there are normally funny things going on.

Some people think new members are trolls and tend to overreact to posts. just ignore it and move on and you will find most people welcome you and are appreciative of posts. .

May I also suggest you wear a helmet and pads if you post in general discussion for your first couple hundred posts. There are those that think they're the smartest people in the room in GD and they can be kind of mean (in my experience).
If you just want to chill out and not talk politics and have a little fun, try the lounge. It's pretty laid back in there. Oh, and could you bring some ice? We're always running low.
