My other neighborhood!

Greetings!

I've poked around this site before but I never got into posting anything. Today I had something I really wanted to tell people about so here I am.

I live in Chicago in Our President's former Senatorial district so we're all pretty damn liberal around here! It's nice! Coming to visit on DU could be like my other neighborhood where everybody's cool.

I did decide to give someone a full ignore already. Can they still see my posts? I'm really hoping not as that would be pretty crappy if somebody could beat up on you and you don't even know it's happening but everybody else does. What are the details of this Ignore thing?

I'm an author and I run a futures trading website. I teach GED classes and I'm looking to become more involved in social equality.

When you ignore, you can't see them but they can still see you.

There's also trash thread where you can just click and not see the thread. And trash by keyword if there's a topic you'd rather not read about.
