A spiteful clubgoer who was angry over being tossed out of a Flatiron hotspot early Monday lied in wait and opened fire at crowd outside the club, killing one woman and injuring two others, police sources said.

Two of the women were waiting for a cab outside Motivo nightclub on E. 21st Street exit near Fifth Avenue just after 4 a.m. when the gunman squeezed off at least eight shots and sped off in a dark-colored BMW, family and police sources said.

The shooter, believed to be in his 20s, had gotten into an argument – possibly over a woman – inside the club and was escorted out by bouncers, sources said.

It’s unclear whether club security or the women were his intended targets.

Faussett, a mom of a 3-year-old boy, died a short time later at Bellevue Hospital despite cops’ efforts to try to save her, her family said Monday.
