Thank you for your concern.

I originally was taking a short, but much needed break from DU. But during that time, things went a little crazy.

The first thing that happened was my husband lost his job--he's since found another--thank goodness. I then had some bad news from the doctor--having surgery tomorrow to hopefully rectify that situation.

Last Tuesday my mother in law passed--suddenly.

Next Tuesday the 10th would have been my nephews 19th birthday. He died when he was 16, Feb 2 2011. This time of year is always difficult with my brother, he's bi-polar and he has a very difficult time because of this..not that I blame him. I don't know what I'd do if it were my child, it's hard enough being my nephew.

It's been pretty rough since Mid October. . There was so much that happened, every time I thought things would get better, more crap. I'm hoping things are settled down. Just get through tomorrow's surgery and my nephews birthday...and fingers crossed.

I've been keeping in touch with BTA, he's been a great friend and a super strong shoulder.

Again, thanks for your concern, it made me feel good to see this. Nice to know people care.

Edited to add: more positive things... My son will graduate from college with his BS in Finance on Jan 12 and he's been accepted into the University's Masters program which he will start in the spring.

Also, my fantasy football team made it to the playoffs.

With all at once. However, you and your family seem to be handling it as good as you can. Please know we will be thinking of you, and will be here for you thru the next weeks.

Also, congrats to you and your son. That's a great accomplishment!

And, go playoff team! Lol

I'm sorry things have been so rough.

Biggest congrats to your son though, that's awesome news!
