Well, it is personal good news - podcast of my daughter's Peace Corps term in Madagascar

...posting for those wanting to know what the Peace Corps is up to, or what it's like in Madagascar.

She had a great (meaningful) time there - and got to discuss it in a podcast. She did this a few years ago, and is now finding her way around corporate life in Seattle (guess what she enjoyed more!).

(yes, we are proud of her....she is kind of goofy like her dad, too!)

one of my daughters is applying to peace corps so I
just sent her the link to the website.

Another daughter, my oldest, worked with an NGO
in Madagascar for several weeks, during the time
of the 2004 tsunami. She was in the jungle on the
west side so wasn't even aware of what had
just happened until several days afterwards.

I didn't know she was safe and of course was
terrified for those several days... I'm sure you
have had scary times with her in Peace Corps?
