My husband and I loved it, although he did say the physics was wrong.

I found it absolutely involving and gripping.

But...that's what makes life go 'round!!! Viva la difference!

I haven't seen American Hustle. Can't say I'm aware of it...

just so-so to me. Nothing special. Amy Adams was horrible - and I love her. Christian Bale was by far the best actor though. All in all, too unbelievable and just didn't care enough about any of them.

speaking of movies that have no redeeming value - Wolf of Wall Street.

See, I loved the underlying comedy in American Hustle.

AH - some of it was funny, I agree. Maybe it's just the utter over the top build up
they give these films....like they are Gone with the Wind or something....almost always
a let down.

think it's interesting to think about - how much I probably would have liked it - if

I remember seeing the trailer for "Gravity" long before the movie was even completed. And I was anxious to see it based on the trailer.

After seeing the full movie, the trailer was the part I liked best!

I am in love with this movie. I watched this movie 2 times. First time in the theater and the second time I watched it online. Truly speaking I enjoyed a lot while watching it online, thanks to movie25.ws . I was able to watch gravity in HD Quality on this website. I will surely watch it again and on the same website.

I agree as to the ending. It was a little strange. I mean, if she actually got back to earth what are the odds she'd land somewhere with no one anywhere around, and that way the scene was shot, the place where she landed did look surreal. So...I don't know either!!!

I really want to see this movie.

That just wasn't used??? I went expecting this profound story of great personal realization, etc. and I think that was the attempt, but I don't think it was achieved.

They just dropped the ball about half way and never fully recovered.

Short answer - I don't know. But the way the filming was done where she landed all alone, and the camera effect was kind of "surreal", I'm guessing she's supposed to be in heaven. Of course, if her deceased child had come running over the hill, that would have answered the question - and that did not happen.
