Bill Maher and Killer Mike smoked a joint on live TV tonight

It was during the New Rules segment at the end of Real Time with Bill Maher on HBO.

I don't have a link, but maybe someone can post the video?

edit: While I was searching youtube for a video clip, I found that Zach Galifianakis did five years ago, as well. So, this wasn't quite as groundbreaking as I thought...

WHAT'S TRUE: Maher maintained the joint (or blunt) was real.

WHAT'S FALSE: Maher was fined by the FCC.

Social media users wondered whether Maher (who immediately began coughing before passing the joint to rapper and guest Killer Mike) legitimately smoked pot during his show. Maher addressed the questions via his Twitter account, stating that a 2010 segment involving Zach Galifianakis was staged, but this was legitimate:

Although on the overtime she was less prudish about it. AND it turns out that was Killer Mike's gift to Maher.
