An actual scientific study on the effect of cannabinoids on cancer (thank you Spain)

It seems there aren't many of these out there. Well this looks quite promising. And it's another indication that cannabis is crucially important to the human species.

A Combined Preclinical Therapy of Cannabinoids and Temozolomide against Glioma

The conclusion:

The standard therapy for the management GBM includes surgical resection, focal radiotherapy, and treatment with the alkylating agent temozolomide (1, 2). Unfortunately this therapeutic approach increases only modestly the survival of GBM patients, whose life expectancy after diagnosis remains approximately to 12 to 15 months. It is therefore urgent to search for novel therapeutic approaches aimed at improving the poor prognosis of GBM patients. Results obtained by our group and others during the last decade have shown that THC, the main active component of marijuana, reduces the growth of different types of tumor xenografts including gliomas (11, 13–16, 18, 37–40). In this report, we find that the combined administration of TMZ and THC exerts a potent antitumoral action in glioma xenografts. Thus, treatment with these 2 agents inhibited tumor growth to much higher extent than the treatment with TMZ or THC alone. Furthermore, coadministration of TMZ and THC strongly reduced the growth of tumors that are resistant to the individual treatment with either of these 2 agents.

So will the privatized prisons.

Conservatives and big money are very much opposed to accurate info getting out and that's why I was surprised at CNN's coverage. I wonder why such a number of DUers bashed it.

Since all mammals have the same cannabinoid receptors in their bodies.

It saved my epileptic dog's life. She wasn't supposed to live past 2, she is now 14.

But they are finding that multiple of the cannabinoids fight different cancers.

In the RSO industry, we use high CBD oil along with high THC oil because the CBD dampens the high from the THC. This allows patients to get more medicine into their system faster without them being so high from the THC that they can't function.

Once we get large amounts of the oil in the patient, they build up a tolerance and eventually barely get high off it anymore.

All the compounds and chemicals are already perfected to work synergistically to heal our bodies.

A friend explained it something like this: "We have receptors in our bodies waiting to receive. We all manufacture THC, already..thats why they allow for a certain number of positive Nano grams detected in drug tests.
Some of us don't naturally produce enuf THC. When cannabis/hemp medicines are introduced, they enter every system in our bodies....nervous, musculoskeletal, endocrine etc-all of them. If these busy little buggers find something misfiring, inflammation or cells that are malfunctioning ..these busy little buggers (cannabinoids etc) attach and start to repair"
