Silent generation (ages 73-90) only one in which a majority does not favor legalization of marijuana

Silent generation (ages 73-90) now the only one in which a majority does not favor legalization of marijuana use.http://pewrsr.ch/2F4EcMY

Damnit, Mom, get with the program! JK . . . my little old mother, who lives in Mississippi, is fully on board with legalizing pot.

I’m not so fortunate. While we do have medical, after an almost 4-1/2 year delay, the $200-250 recommendation “fee” is a little steep. For some that’s not much. Pay check to pay checkers it’s a whole lot. No, I’ll have to wait for this state to fully legalize. In the meantime my endocannabinoid system will just have to “suck it up and tough it out.” 😡☹️😩

My mother (who wasn't against it to begin with) has some nerve pain in her foot. At a craft fair in Washington, I got her a topical roll-on made with cannabis that she really loves. She showed it to someone who was trying to get legal marijuana on the ballot in Michigan who (somehow) did not know that this was an efficacious use of marijuana.

Maybe that’s it? I tried smoking it when I was in my 30’s and concluded I was allergic, since it made me puke each time, so I quit trying. However, I am not at all against legalization. Heck, maybe I’ll try it again.

Back in the day they used to spray all kinds of nasty stuff on their crops. Plus they would brick it up and it would grow molds. Or you could have just been allergic to something where it was grown and the pollen stuck to the sticky plant.

Today's pot is mostly all organic from a dispensary.

The app is ok for finding Med dispensaries' but some reviewers say that the site is subject to scammers and may be used by some police departments. Hey I know Paranoid but as an older dad with a kid I can't be too careful.

My mom used to tell me how she freaked out the one time she tried it... warning me off the stuff... looking right at me as I'm super stoned...

Mom: "Why are your eyes so red..?"
Me: "I'm just tired mom... it's been a long day.."
Mom: "Oh...OK.. you better get some sleep.."
Me: "Thanks mom... Love you..!!"

I'm 70 and have always relied on younger people for my cannabis needs. Old friends that are in their 70's have been listening to the proponents of medical marijuana and complaining to me - I don't know why - about modern medicine and why they still feel shitty. One guy is a former alcoholic, sober for decades and now driving a bus in his late 70's. Even though I know he could use it now, I've decided to wait until he doesn't need clean urine.

Once legalization takes place, these are the people we should convert. After years of abuse from the medical industry, they deserve the opportunity to 'feel better'!
