it has always been that way... are Bernie supporters ready for the ongoing work, sacrifice, fighting, struggle?... it seems a lot of Obama supporters gave up soon after electing him

I love Bernie but have little faith in the people to act in the ways necessary to make the changes

Hill? Rump?

Sheesh...I go 100% with Bernie.

And I just think it will be different in that Obama brushed aside the supporters once he got into office (there have been numerous posts and articles about this)...I do not believe Bernie will do this because he understands that we need to turn around not only Congress but at all levels of state and local governments.

for whomever the Democratic Nominee is... I have donated to both Bernie and Hillary's campaigns and would even approve of Martin O'Malley in the White House... at present I am working primarily for Hillary Clinton because I seriously doubt that we voters will act in the ways we must to help realize Bernie Sanders goals... I do not believe that Obama dismissed his supporters out of hand once he was elected; what I witnessed was many people giving up on him as soon as the prospect of actually having to continue to work hard and sacrifice to help obtain those things that excited them about Obama in the first place. President Obama has worked hard for the People against almost impossible odds (obstructionists Republicans). We must cooperate, communicate, fight, stand together as a whole to make things happen... one man does not do it alone and one man with less than 100% support from a great number of people does not do it. Not only must we work to get a Democrat elected as President but nothing is going to go well until we change the dynamics in Congress, meaning working to get Democrats elected locally ...not to mention the makeup of the Supreme Court.

many liberal minded people (especially here on DU) are doing a great disservice to the Democratic Party by the full time Hillary bashing... (not much different than the Republicans eating their own)...

Yes, I love Bernie Sanders and his ideology (and I know him well from years of his being my nearby mayor, Representative and Senator) I also respect and admire Hillary Clinton for her work over the years and I believe she would be an excellent President for the People. I don't have to hate one to respect the other.

If Bernie wins the nomination I certainly will work hard to get him elected and continue to do whatever I can to see the hopes and dreams realized... I would hope that my fellow Democrats would act in kind

until masses of people are willing to stand and fight, protest, march, sacrifice, boycott, call, write, speak out, spend money, etc... I see less than major change happening
